Coefficient of Friction Testing

We measure the static coefficient of friction for clients in dry conditions using horizontal-pull tribometers in accordance with ASTM International F 609-05: Standard Test Method for Using a Horizontal Pull Slipmeter (HPS).  We are qualified and experienced to interpret coefficient of friction test results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and guidelines. 

We are active participants in the ASTM Committee F13 on Pedestrian/Walkway Safety and Footwear.
