Work analysis is the cornerstone of our prevention services.  Once the requirements of the job have been defined using a variety of methods, we pinpoint risk factors for injury based on the degree of fit between the work, the person(s) performing it, and the evironment in which it is performed.        

The workstation analysis service is for clients who are particularly concerned whether or not workstations fit or can be adjusted to fit workers.  We can examine current designs, facilitate re-designs, and test the effectiveness of any re-design efforts using key safety and business-related metrics.       

With a broader scope than our work analysis and workstation services, our ergonomics and safety process audits examine your company or site ergonomics program relative to minimum standards and best practices in business and industry.  Actionable recommendations are provided.   

In this process, leadership articulates the company’s strategy for safety by examining its strengths, weakness, threats, and opportunities in its external environment.  Such planning is a starting point for businesses that wish to establish a new strategy or re-visit their existing strategy.    

Using our own participatory SMART process for warning development we examine hazards and risk perceptions, prototype warning messages and symbols, refine them as necessary, and test their effectiveness by key safety metrics such as comprehension and behavioral compliance.
